I recently finished significant portion of the renovations and decided to perform duct cleaning. However since my basement is still under construction, I was worried about people going up and down and bringing dirt and dust from the basement to the main floors. My worries were baseless. Guys worked neatly, changing shoes every time they were going from the basement to the main floor. They did their job very accurately and responsibly. When the duct was cut to accommodate the vacuum hose, one of the dampers in the main trunk was accidentally damaged. Joe did not cover this up, but showed to me what happened and repaired the damper so that it became functional again. I was very pleased with the service and attitude of this contractor and will definitely recommend Duct Cleaning Centre to others.

I had a bad experience once when I agreed to a complete duct cleaning service for $98. My house is 1700 sq ft and on the phone everything sounded very attractive, although in reality it was somewhat different. The technician worked for 30-40 min and said that everything was cleaned, and now if I want he could clean the heating vent and the AC coil which is supposedly very important, he also offered to do an addition disinfection of the air ducts, another vital process, but all for additional cost. This way the additional cost racked up to another $120! I refused. I paid him $98 for what he has done but as I discovered later, I didn't get a complete service. I would strongly recommend: don't follow the low prices you are offered - people are using it as hook and then rack up the prices in the process.

And now about a good experience...

I came across the Duct Cleaning Centre though www.411.ca - the Duct Cleaning Directory. Their website www.itmustbedone.com has a very detailed and accessible information about what a complete professional duct cleaning service should include including prices. I must say that I haven't come across anything that clear and easy to follow anywhere else. I made an appointment online and was very happy with the service I received. Work took approximately 2 hours. I was very pleased they delivered exactly what they promised and by booking online I got a very good discounted rate. I would highly recommend the Duct Cleaning Centre. The whole process was easy. Information was clear, booking was quick, the team was polite and very tidy and in the end, I had confidence that it was done very well and that I was not ripped off!
